About Nhan P. Nguyen, MD

Nhan P. Nguyen, MD, is an interventional cardiologist with more than 20 years of experience. Board certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, he treats a variety of vascular and cardiac diseases, including coronary artery disease, heart rhythm disorders, heart failure, and congenital heart defects. Skilled in minimally invasive procedures, he performs transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR); Watchman™ device implantation; and patent foramen ovale and atrial septal defect closures.

At Methodist Richardson Medical Center, Dr. Nguyen is medical director of cardiology and cardiac catheterization laboratory. He also serves on the Methodist Richardson Medical Executive Committee and Advisory Board, and he is a member of the Richardson Heart Safe Community. He has won numerous awards for excellent patient care.

Dr. Nguyen’s outside interests include golf and skiing, as well as watching his three daughters excel in orchestra, varsity golf, and competitive cheer.
