About Mihaela A. Kruger, MD

Born and raised in Romania, Interventional Cardiologist Mihaela Andreea Kruger, MD, has been caring for patients in the DFW area since 2014. Dr. Kruger earned her medical degree from the Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania. She then completed her Internal Medicine Residency, Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship, and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA.

Dr. Kruger is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine in Interventional Cardiology, and Cardiovascular Disease. She is also certified by the Board of Nuclear Cardiology, the National Board of Echocardiography and is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation.

Special Clinical Interests:

Dr. Kruger specializes in treating coronary artery disease, including acute heart attack interventions, while enjoying the whole spectrum of cardiology from preventative care, hypertension and dyslipidemia management, to advanced heart failure and more complex interventions such as transcatheter aortic valve replacement.

Outside of work, Dr. Kruger enjoys spending time with her two sons, playing tennis, gardening and traveling. Dr. Kruger is fluent in Spanish and Romanian, and conversational in French and Italian.
