About Mariah F. Burnell, DO
Mariah Burnell, DO, is a board-certified family medicine physician in Southlake, Texas. She has experience caring for patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics. Dr. Burnell offers a wide range of primary care services, including managing chronic conditions, well visits, and sick care. She also has a special interest in obesity and weight management and is currently pursuing board certification in obesity medicine.
Dr. Burnell received her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan. She then completed her internship and residency in family medicine at McLaren Macomb Family Medicine in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Outside of work, Dr. Burnell enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, reading, and traveling. She is happily married with two boys and recently added a golden retriever puppy to the family.
