About Heather J. Havener, MD

Heather Havener, MD, always had an interest in women's health and decided on her specialty because it allowed her to combine medicine and surgery. After medical school, she served in the U.S. Navy Medical Corps as a Naval Medical Officer and physician, and she moved to the DFW Metroplex in 2013.

Today, she focuses specifically on gynecological care, from wellness visits to minimally invasive surgery. She is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a certified menopause practitioner through the North American Menopause Society.

Dr. Havener and her husband have a daughter and a son. In her free time, she enjoys time with family and friends and watching football with her husband — geaux LSU Tigers!
