About Catherine A. Daniel, DO
Catherine Daniel, DO, is a full-scope obstetrics and gynecology (OBGYN) physician who provides well-woman annual exams, routine and high risk obstetrics, family planning, hormone replacement therapy, and gynecological surgical procedures. Additionally, she treats patients with abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic and vulvar pain, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
Dr. Daniel obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Biochemistry from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from University of North Texas Health Science Center, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Daniel completed her OBGYN residency at Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Daniel is certified in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, as well as the da Vinci Surgical System for gynecologic surgery. She is Nexplanon insertion certified and able to place IUDs of all types. Dr. Daniel is passionate about pain management for all exams and procedures, providing trauma-informed and patient-centered care.
Dr. Daniel is a North Texas native, and was born at Methodist Dallas. Her parents were both born at Methodist Dallas as well, and she enjoys working alongside those that helped deliver her. Outside of work, Dr. Daniel enjoys gardening, practicing pilates, playing board games with friends, and traveling with her husband. She has two cats, Buddy and Rosie, and a dog, Shiner.
