About Amy B. Miller, DO
Amy B. Miller, DO, is a board certified family medicine physician. She is a full-scope primary care provider with a patient-centered approach that considers the whole person – body, mind, and spirit, while also emphasizing preventative care. Dr. Miller works closely with patients so they understand all care options and are able to make informed decisions together. She sees patients of all ages from newborns to geriatrics.
Dr. Miller earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Arlington, in Arlington, Texas. She then received her doctor of osteopathy degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth – Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Miller completed her family practice residency at Baylor Medical Center at Garland, in Garland, Texas.
Dr. Miller has been in practice for 22 years. She enjoys family medicine because she is able to treat patients with a variety of illnesses and follow them throughout their lives. Dr. Miller recommends yearly preventative physicals for all her patients, so she is able to treat any ailments early on.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott, their three children, and their many pets. She likes to read, see movies, and travel when she is not treating patients.
