Current nurses at Methodist Health System have access to nursing education courses at no charge. Our teaching facilities are located at Methodist Dallas Medical Center in the Weiss Building. The cost for non-employees varies per class or seminar, payable in advance or on the day of the class.

Funded through the Methodist Health System Foundation, our nursing scholarships are supported by generous donations designated for nursing education.
Each year, from mid-April through mid-June, we accept applications for the following:
- Nursing Scholarship Fund
- Applications open for 2026
- Available to both Methodist employees and external applicants accepted to or enrolled in an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (AND), Registered Nurse (RN), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Advanced Practice, Doctoral, or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) program
- Deadline is June 17, 2026 at 5 p.m. CT
- Fran Laukaitis ADN Nursing Scholarship
- Applications open for 2026
- Available only to Methodist Charlton Medical Center employees accepted to or enrolled in an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program
- Deadline is June 17, 2026 at 5 p.m. CT

Applicants for the Fran Laukaitis ADN Nursing Scholarship must download and complete one (x1): MHS Scholarship Programs — Manager Recommendation Form.
