About Daniel Pinkhas, DO
Daniel Pinkhas, DO, obtained his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. After medical school, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Ohio State University Hospital. Dr. Pinkhas then pursued specialized training through his dual fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin and William Beaumont University Hospital, respectively.
Dr. Pinkhas is a cardiac electrophysiologist. Cardiac electrophysiology is a field within cardiology that specializes in heart conditions that cause arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation as well as heart rhythm disorders that require pacemakers and defibrillators. Dr. Pinkhas completed training in all aspects of cardiac electrophysiology and performs complex catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation, atypical atrial arrhythmias, supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) and ventricular tachycardia (VT). His areas of expertise also include implantation and management of pacemakers, defibrillators, and cardiac resynchronization therapy.
