Just like bariatric surgery, endobariatric procedures are tools to help achieve weight loss and improve overall health and require no abdominal incisions. These procedures are performed using an endoscope, which is a flexible tube with a light, a camera, and tiny surgical instruments attached to access a person’s stomach and digestive tract via the mouth and throat.
