Living well with diabetes with education, counseling, and support
At Methodist Health System, we believe in the power of diabetes education, diabetes counseling, diabetes support groups, and a little fun, to help people with diabetes live healthy and happy lives. That’s why we created the Diabetes Self-Management Program at Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas and Methodist Richardson Medical Center.
You can live well with diabetes. We can help.
Our team of dedicated professionals has built a diabetes program of classes, events, support groups, and seminars that meets or exceeds the national standards set by the American Diabetes Association.
The Diabetes Self-Management Program has been recognized by the American Diabetes Association (ADA) for outstanding quality diabetes education and services. The program has successfully achieved ADA recognition since its inception in 2002.
More important, through the Diabetes Self-Management Program we’re helping make life better for people in our community who have type 1 diabetes , type 2 diabetes, and gestational diabetes.
If you have diabetes, ask your doctor if a diabetes self-management program is right for you.
Are you at risk for diabetes?
