Methodist Richardson Medical Center announces the opening of a new clinical resource for the greater North Dallas community. The Methodist Richardson Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center opens to the public on Wednesday, Sept. 5, at 403 W. Campbell Road, Medical Office Building I, Suite 310.
The Methodist Richardson Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center offers specialized outpatient care for patients with chronic, non-healing wounds that show little or no sign of improvement with standard treatment. Underlying causes of these wounds can be diabetes, circulatory disease, or radiation burns, among other conditions.
Serving as a clinical resource to physicians in greater North Dallas, the Wound Center provides the same level of personalized patient care people have come to expect from Methodist Richardson Medical Center. A multi-disciplinary panel of physicians, including family medicine, internal medicine, general surgery, vascular surgery, cardiovascular surgery, and podiatry, direct the design and implementation of care plans tailored to each patient’s individual needs. All of these physicians are experts in treating diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, and various other wounds, and have had specialized training in wound healing, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
“We are excited to add the Methodist Richardson Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center to the wide range of services we offer at Methodist Richardson Medical Center,” said E. Kenneth Hutchenrider, Jr., FACHE, president of Methodist Richardson Medical Center. “Our physicians and nursing staff are trained to provide the highest quality wound care, and we look forward to bringing these much-needed services to our community.”
