At Methodist Health System, volunteers help with a wide variety of tasks at our hospitals. Opportunities to serve include:
- Greeting and escorting patients and visitors
- Helping patients with meals
- Sharing office or computer skills
- Assisting in the emergency department
- Supporting families in waiting rooms
- Delivering flowers and mail to patients
- Delivering meals to patients
- Helping in the hospital gift shop
- Serving as a Cuddler in the Neonatal ICU at Methodist Dallas
- Working on special projects

Methodist Dallas is currently accepting applications for adult volunteers.
Applications for the summer high school volunteer program will be accepted from March 1 to March 31, 2014.
Methodist Charlton Volunteer Services – 214-947-7676
Methodist Charlton is currently accepting applications for adult community volunteers who are available to work a weekly 4-5 hour shift. We are recruiting volunteers for our Emergency Department, Food Services, Patient Companions, several clerical positions and weekend front information desk volunteers.
Applications for the 2014 Junior Volunteer Program will be accepted from March 3 to March 31, 2014.

Methodist Richardson Volunteer Services – 469-204-1000
Methodist Richardson is actively recruiting shift volunteers for all available days. If you are interested in joining the auxiliary, please fill out an application online.
Methodist Richardson will not be accepting new Junior Volunteers in 2014 due to the opening of the new hospital. The next application for Junior Volunteers will be posted in March 2015.
