Graduate Medical Education

Mission: To educate and support the professional development of physicians in the provision of high-quality, compassionate, evidence-based health care to our community.

Methodist Health System has a 70+ year history of supporting physician training. Currently we support more than 100 trainees in 4 residency programs and 6 fellowship programs across 3 hospital campuses. The institution and all sponsored programs are accredited and in good standing under the accrediting bodies of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and the Fellowship Council.

GME at Methodist provides an ambulatory education experience for nearly all of its trainees at two locations: the Golden Cross Academic Clinic on the Methodist Dallas campus; and at the Family Medicine Clinic on the Methodist Charlton campus. Both clinics provide compassionate community health care and excellent clinical outcomes through evidenced-based approaches to improving community health issues.

We invite you to consider completion of your Residency or Fellowship training at Methodist, and to experience the vibrancy of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex as well. Our current trainees enjoy the benefits of high quality medical education combined with day-to-day life in one of our country’s most exciting and dynamic cities.
