Education

Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)

Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) at Methodist Health System

CPE students at Methodist Health System have the opportunity to learn pastoral care in an interfaith setting through ministry in patient parishes at our hospitals and through reflection in seminars and didactics.

Challenged to integrate their religious perspectives and theological assumptions with the realities of human care, CPE chaplains at Methodist will find both strong educational and emotional support through individual supervision and peer group seminars designed to encourage personal and professional pastoral growth.

Accreditation

CPE at Methodist Health System is accredited by membership through the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) for Level I/Level II and Supervisory.
